Jhirna zone is currently the most suggested zone as it has become a popular tiger sighting hotspot since 2019 due to growing predator population.
It is a hill safari zone. Known as "Bird-watcher's paradise", it's the home to a wide variety of exotic and migratory birds such as Grey-headed Fishing Eagle, Maroon Oriole, Long tailed Broadbill etc.
This is the most popular safari zone. It has the biggest area among all the zones and is widely known for it's scenic display of grasslands, Ramganga reservoir and absolute chances of tiger-sighting.
Sitabani eco-tourism is called landscape area which is best known for nature walks, beautiful forest and a hidden waterfall. Mythologically, it's also known that Goddess Sita stayed here during her exile.
The Garjiya Tourist zone was inaugurated in November 2020 to accomodate the increasing number of tourists and decrease the load on existing zones. Despite being an alternate zone, it too offers a wide diversity in species of birds and animals and gives the experience of picturesque forest.
The Phato eco-tourism zone, inaugurated on January 2nd, 2022 by Prime Minister is the most underrated gem on earth. With beautiful eucalyptus forests, emerald like green waterhole and ruby like pink water hole, diverse species of flora and fauna, and a tree-house in its campus, it's the most beautiful forest of Jim Corbett.
This zone serves as the gateway to "Sonanadi range". Away from crowds and commercialisation, this zone offers a quieter and "off-the-beaten-path"experience to the travellers. It's gate is located in the Kotdwar range which makes it more accessible to the tourists coming from Dehradun and Delhi.
About 30 km away from Ramnagar, this recently added zone is distinguished by its dense forest canopy and Kosi River bank drives. It offers a raw wilderness experience with frequent sightings of Bengal tigers, wild elephants and rare bird species. It is a quiet journey where the river’s flow meets the deep stillness of the woods.

April to June: Experience the magic of Jim Corbett during the summer months when wildlife sightings are at their peak. While daytime temperatures can soar up to 40°C, this season offers the best chance to spot tigers and other animals in their natural habitat.
Corbett National Park closes during the monsoon season for visitor safety and wildlife preservation. From June 15th to October 15th, all zones are closed for night halts.

The reserve is closed from July to October during the monsoon, as heavy rains can wash away roads inside the park. However, the Jhirna, Dhela, and Sitabani zones remain open year-round for visitors.
