Ramnagar is more than our home base — it’s the actual gateway town for Jim Corbett National Park, sitting right where the plains give way to the Sivalik foothills. Being based here, rather than running bookings out of Delhi or another city, means our team knows which zone gates are less crowded in a given week, which resorts are genuinely close to your chosen zone versus a 40-minute drive away, and which roads are affected once the monsoon sets in.

Jim Corbett itself spans over 520 square kilometers across 12 distinct safari zones — Bijrani, Dhikala, Jhirna, Durga Devi, Sitabani, Garjiya, Phato, Pakhro, Dhela, Mohaan, Kaladhungi, and Hathi Dager — each with its own gate, permit quota, and character. Some, like Jhirna, stay open through the monsoon; others close between July and mid-November. Matching a first-time visitor to the right zone for their dates and priorities is honestly the single biggest thing we do — get that wrong, and you can end up at a gate with poor odds for what you actually wanted to see.
