Jhirna Zone Safari

Jhirna Jeep Safari Zone: The celebrity in limelight

Jhirna zone is currently the most suggested zone as it has become a popular tiger sighting hotspot since 2019 due to growing predator population.

Why Jhirna Zone?

The Jhirna Tourism Zone is the only year-round gateway to Jim Corbett National Park, located   16 km from Ramnagar. Spanning approximately 14 km² of diverse topography, it is a favorite for those seeking consistent wildlife sightings regardless of the season.

Accessed via the Dhela Gate, it sits on the sourthern edge of the park.
There is a mix of dry deciduous forest, secondary scrub, and sprawling Lanthana bushes, which provide excellent cover for predators.Unlike other zones, Jhirna remains open throughout the monsoon (subject to road conditions), making it the “evergreen” choice for tourists. Jhirna is globally renowned as the best spot in Corbett to witness the Sloth Bear in its natural habitat. Originally a farming village, the area was relocated in 1994. Today, seeing the forest reclaim the old village ruins adds a haunting, beautiful layer to the safari.
30 jeeps per shift are permitted over here.

Currently this zone is coming in the spotlight as it is offering huge chances of tiger sighting.

Whether you’re seeking thrilling tiger sightings or a peaceful retreat in nature, the Jhirna Zone Safari at Jim Corbett National Park offers something for everyone. Book your safari today with Bagh Travels and immerse yourself in the untamed beauty of this world-renowned wildlife haven.
